9/15/26: Color

Lab 1 is due tonight!

In class, we will talk about color, especially color in maps/cartography. But we will also have a short activity where you just poke around free resources online, looking at colors and how people who are good at designing things use color. This constitutes your third activity and you should submit the image you find via Canvas by end of Thursday.

Your second challenge is assigned today and due next week.

9/17/26: Mostly open lab

Originally, this was going to be “Type” day, but I am bumping that to after we get started with Adobe.

By the end of today, submit the image that you found from our in-class activity
